Nicky Read

Nicky has been working in fundraising for the past 18 years, moving from the commercial sector to look after new business at Breakthrough Breast Cancer in her first charity role, securing partners such as ghd which is now in its 18th year. For the last ten years she has held head of corporate partnerships roles, at Anthony Nolan, Sue Ryder and Marie Curie where she led the team to grow income by 200% over three years. More recently, she is has been working as a Fundraising Consultant, for charities such as Refuge, The London Community Foundation and Battersea, leading their philanthropy and partnerships teams to maximise income growth.
