Eleanor McGrath

Eleanor McGrath is Director of The Idlewild Trust, a UK-wide grant-giving charity that supports art conservation and opportunities for emerging professionals the visual and performing arts. She recently completed her MBA at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford where she was recipient of the Linbury Scholarship in recognition of her work in the arts and not-for-profit sectors. She has held previous roles at organisations including Art Fund, National Lottery Heritage Fund, National Trust and Christie's. She was a 2021 finalist in the Women of the Future awards (arts and culture category) and is a Fellow of The Royal Society of Arts. Eleanor holds various voluntary and governance roles in the charitable sector and is motivated by effective grant-giving, philanthropy and corporate partnerships to enable not-for-profit and cultural organisations to thrive.
